You have with these filters for the first time high- quality and still well payable interference filters for CCD- astronomy and visual observation. Astronomik filters are produced by a new type of method: The transmissions curves are being kept to with mathematical precision. Real transmissions up to 99,8 % are possible. Astronomik filters are not comparable with the known filters from Japan or from USA. The different coats are completely sealed and insensitive to moisture. They do not change within the years, but keep their transmission characteristics almost for ever. The coats are so hard, that is it not possible to scratch them by mistake. The filters are produced in Europe, not in the Far-East. The filters are manufactured to very high quality standards but are still sold for a very fair and stable price. All filters are available with the diameters 1,25" (thread M28,5x0,5) and 2" (thread M48x0,75). Each filter will be send in a useful dust protection- case.
